Oxfam Trailwalk

The famous Oxfam Trailwalk hits Tuapo on the weekend of 14-15th April this year and Hub Cafe will once again be offering their support by providing catering to the 1000+ participants passing through Checkpoint 5. The walk is 100kms incorporating the great New Zealand spirit and beauty of Taupo and last year, it's launch, saw the most successful Trailwalker launch in the events 25 year history. Hub Cafe was honoured to be part of it by providing the catering at Checkpoint 5 alongside Contact Energy and was very pleasantly surprised to be awarded the prize for Best Checkpoint! This year the cafe will also be open 24 hours providing well needed caffeine to all the supporters and if there is anyone out there who would like to volunteer for the event or learn more about it, check out www.oxfam.org.nz
