Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra

The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra came to Taupo on Friday 7th May and brought the house down at the Great Lake Centre during the ERUPT Lake Taupo Arts Festival.  Their performance included a wide range of music for everyone from Ruru Karaitiana and Dean Martin to The Corals & Mel Tillis.  It really was a night to remember.

The following day the talented musicians joined us at Helistar Helicopters flight centre for a scenic flight before heading back to Wellington.  They were charming and comical, a joy to fly with.  Our helicopters now come with a standard issue Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra album which plays their joyful music during flight!!
